We were assigned to help out with the cleaning at each meal; however, everyone was more than willing to pull up their sleeves to do the dishes. As usual, Brother Raymond always hogged every opportunity to clean and wash, as well as, becoming our vegeatable chef. Brother Alex enjoyed cleaning so much, he offered to do it twice. To top it off, we enjoyed all the scrumptious meals prepared by Chef Stella and Sous Chef Peter. What a sight that everyone was working together in harmony. Just like what Philippians 2:2 said “fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”
The rest of the trip was also highlighted with: singing of hymns without the piano; the sharing of God’s Words every night in a dream like stage; and the constant detours on joy rides around the island because of the broken down GPS were many happy and joyous examples too numerous to mention.
Yes, happiness and joyfulness can happen at the same time.
From a happy camper
God bless our Captain and Mrs Ping On for making all this possible!!!!
